LOST YEARS
site information click to toggle
Ten years ago, Sohei Dojima, patriarch of the Dojima Family within the Tojo Clan, was killed by one of his men. Kazuma Kiryu was sent to jail, sentenced to ten years for the murder. Finally, Kiryu has been released just as things began to stir up in the underground of Kamurocho. The entirity of the Tojo Clan's savings, ten billion yen, was stolen from the bank leaving the yakuza clan penniless and the patriarchs at each other's throats. The chairman, Masaru Sera, is in hot water and many are just waiting until he is killed for such an oversight.

Will you bring an end to the short reign of Masaru Sera and seize control of Japan's largest yakuza clan? Will you simply be a civilian trying hard to stay out of the dangerous businesses? Will you do whatever it takes to serve those you have sworn an oath to? Even if it means death?

While we are set in 2005, if one knows the series, then they also know there are a lot of events and characters that might not be aged properly for this era. Do not be afraid - alternate universes exist just for that. Here in Lost Years, you can play any character from the Yakuza franchise, change up their age, and possibly their history (particularly if their histories revolve around other characters. EX) Haruka Sawamura or Saejima Taiga).

Throw Ichiban Kasuga into the fray to play with the big boys; bring Makoto Makimura back to Kamurocho and become entangled in the underworld once more; send Naoki Katsuya to Kamurocho to meddle in affairs not to be meddled with. The future is now in flux. What changes will you make to the yakuza world?

Please don't mind the dust! We're still cleaning things up to get the roleplay started. However, feel free to look around, apply, and even roleplay while we work on getting this site up and going.
